About My Dahlia Tubers
At Dragon Meadow Dahlias, I take pride in offering quality dahlia tubers. That being said... tubers come in all shapes and sizes some may be small, big, twisted, slightly wrinkled or imperfect-looking, but rest assured, these characteristics do not impact their ability to grow beautiful full plants. As long as the tuber has and eye & a crown the body shape doesn't matter. Each tuber is carefully inspected and sold individually, ensuring it has at least one viable eye.

Virus Information
It is fairly common knowledge that dahlia stock can have a high percentage of viruses, and many viruses are latent and do not present any visible symptoms, making them impossible to detect even with rigorous inspections throughout the season. It would not be feasible for me to have everything virus tested and keep my products afforable to my customers. Nor is virus testing fool proof as viruses are transmitted by a wide variety of bugs throughout the growing season.
I sanitize between plant cuttings, and individual clumps when dividing tubers. Cull anything that looks suspicious,
For pest management I use beneficial bugs and spray with Growers Ally Crop Defender 3
which is a Miticide, Fungicide, & Insecticide
often throughout the growing season.
Also, the healthier your soil is the healthier your dahlias will be in defending against these viruses.
Growers Ally Crop Defender 3 ingredients: Contains a blend of botanical oils (thyme, rosemary, clove, peppermint) and a surfactant.
My Guarantee
I guarantee that all tubers will be true to name.
"Unless" they are Mystery :) or deeply discounted tubers.
Color and bloom variations may occur depending on weather conditions, but I stand behind the accuracy of my varieties that are handled and divided with the upmost care. However, I am human and mistakes can happen. If you suspect a mislabel, please contact me with clear photos of the bloom and plant foliage by October 1st of the current growing season.

All tubers are shipped with at least one viable eye. If you believe your tuber lacks a viable eye, you must contact me within 4 days of receiving and inspecting your tubers for a refund or replacement. I will refund the tubers cost but you will need to return the original tuber to me. The decision to refund or replace is at my discretion, and refunds may be subjected to a 20% restocking fee.

I truly appreciate your patience in letting me make it right for you.
